GATE LOCK WAS CHANGED ON FEBRUARY 13, 2025

The Gate and Restroom Locks were changed on Thursday, February 13, 2025.   YOU MUST NOW USE YOUR NEW (2025) KEY, You can get a 2025 Gate key at a Membership Meeting, Sportsman's Supply, Fenelton Firearms, Down Range Supply or from President Chuck Montag. 

You must present your 2025 Membership Card to obtain a new key. 

The 2025 Hunter-Trapper Education Course will be held at the Summit Township Sportsman's Club on Monday and Tuesday evenings, June 2nd and 3rd.

Club Range Rules  state that shotguns are not to be used on the Rifle Range. Anyone caught (On Camera) using a shotgun on the Rifle Range will be disciplined according to the By-Laws Article II, Section Eight: Disciplinary Action.

 We are using video surveillance equipment on our premises.  ANYONE caught violating range safety rules or vandalizing the premises will have their membership revoked permanently and may be prosecuted for any illegal activities.

The Safety Lights  are in operation. The  Orange shootong flag is replaced with Amber Caution Lights that are controlled by a switch inside the center door. 

BE SURE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER SHOOTERS AND TO SHOOT ONLY INTO DESIGNATED BACKSTOPS.

AS ALWAYS, SAFETY IS OUR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY. 

The Club has purchased an AED.  It is  located in the Men's restroom, allowing access from the main hall and from the outside using the Gate/Restroom key.

  The old Rifle Range Shelter was demolished and the new Shelter is now complete.   We continue to build new shooting benches.

 We are in the process of clearing the pond of the continual muddy wareter. A solar fish feeder was installed on the upper end of the pond but was removed and placed in storage  for the winter.
